Dear Jewish Hospice,

I am writing to express my heartfelt appreciation for the wonderful dedication of your staff.

My mother died at peace and was accompanied from this world by two very dedicated and amazing people: Rabbi Avie Shapiro and Nathan Shiovitz.

Rabbi Avie Shapiro, besides being a warm and caring person who always has time and patience to listen and be attentive to others, helped me personally to face my mother's death and accompany her from this world with prayer and comfort. His job is to be the accompanying rabbi, which he does superbly. But his personal warmth and caring are something extra beyond his job requirements. He is always there for you no matter when you need him.

Nathan Shiovitz has the most exquisite soul of anyone I have ever met. He overcomes his own difficulties just to be there and give comfort. He is giving and loving and accompanies the families in pain who have to face their final goodbye from their loved ones. His emotional and loving support cannot be measured. What a fine human being!

With people like these, the Jewish Hospice and Chaplaincy Service, should be rated in excellence. I am so happy your service exists. Your kindness already place in you Olam Haba (Heaven), so may you all have wonderful things happen to you in this life.
